The BMW Motorsport entered 3.0 CSL driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck, Brian Redman, Allan Moffat and Sam Posey that won the GTO class, and the overall victory at the 1975 12 Hours of Sebring. The number 25 CSL would go onto win at Laguna Seca and Riverside later in the season. BMW Motorsport would also have wins with another CSL at Daytona and Talladega in 1975.
