The winning Lancia Rally 037 driven by Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer at the 1983 Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo. The Lancia Rally 037 would win a total of 5 events that season, and take the 1983 Manufacturers Championship. Another driver for Lancia Martini Racing, Hannu Mikkola, would narrowly beat out Walter Röhrl for the Drivers’ Championship. The Lancia 037 would be the final rear-wheel drive car to win the World Rally Constructors Championship.
