The Porsche 907K driven by Hans Herrmann and Jo Siffert at the 1968 Sebring 12 Hours. Herrmann and Siffert started from the pole position and would go onto win the race, another 907 finished in second place. 1968 started out well for Porsche, a trio of long-tailed 907s finished 1-2-3 at the Daytona 24 hour race earlier in the season. A 907 would also win the Targa Florio in 1968, but it’s career with the factory team was short lived as Porsche was committed to developing a new 5-liter sportscar.
