The winning Joest Racing Porsche 956B driven by Klaus Ludwig, Paolo Barilla and John Winter at the 1985 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1982 the FIA introduced the Group C regulations to sports car racing. During the Group C era, the Porsche 956, and later 962, would win Le Mans six years in a row (1982-1987). The wins included 2 for the number 7 New-Man Joest Racing Porsche 956 (in 1984 the number 7 car won with Klaus Ludwig and Henri Pescarolo).
